It took me just 3 to 4 days to start and finish all four seasons of The Bold Type. The world of SCARLET MAGAZINE is brilliant. To all the ladies, if you still have that girl inside of you, watch this NOW! And men, if you want to know how your girls were, WATCH THIS NOW!
Katie, Sutton, and Kat take you on a super fun journey. Every character is added and removed with purpose. What I enjoyed most is the intro to each episode, where they start with a bizarre scene and then bring in the title THE BOLD TYPE.
The witty, girlish behavior matures when needed. Though the girls come from different economic backgrounds, it never affects their friendship. Boys and girls come and go in their lives, but there is no judging among friends. There are no petty fights; whether they think each other is right or wrong, they are always there for one another. They sort out their differences without brooding over them. The show captures many millennial issues while keeping certain traditions in check.
I enjoyed every episode, and the cast is brilliant. Watch it and be ready for the final season, Season 5, which has ONLY 6 episodes :-(. It had to end somewhere, but these girls are my pals forever now. Thank you for waking the girl inside me :-)
