Language: Hindi
Genre: Horror / Horroredy

Cast: Riteish Deshmukh, Sonakshi Sinha, Saqib Saleem, Aasig Khan and more...
I love Riteish Deshmukh and am ready to watch anything for him, but only on an OTT platform. He’s not my ‘spend 300+ in the theatre’ hero.
Horror is NOT my genre, but I wanted to watch Kakuda for kicks. Not having Zee on my phone crippled me from watching the film on the move, so I had to watch it over three days in parts. Did I miss anything? No, not really. It can be watched in episodes instead. There is nothing you will want to go back and check.
So yes, you can watch this once. It feels like Bollywood has lost the plot. It's busy making remakes, collaborating with other streams of cinema, or making mindless horror flicks.
The ghost here looks like the one in Child’s Play – yes, Child’s Play. But no complaints about the VFX. There are moments of fun too. On second thoughts, this is not a pure horror genre; it’s what I would call a "Horroredy." It doesn’t scare you, but it doesn’t make you roll in splits either. It’s half-baked to be either completely horror or comedy.
The cast is perfect and did their part well, but you can watch it once. Let the crew make some money at least.
Actually, on Spotify, I have a playlist created with songs from horror or spooky Bollywood films. If you want to be spooked by music, perhaps you can tune into that.
