BANANA!!! This film had me in splits! The mere sight of the minions is enough to make anyone laugh. They remind me of my school and college days when everything seemed hilarious. Their antics, like “Longbottom”… “bottom,” brought back those carefree moments.
In today's world, where even smiling at someone's name can be misconstrued, I appreciate the minions even more. They don't care about being judged. They simply get away with anything they do, say and with all sorts of mischief. Watching the film in a 4D theatre added to the fun, with chair shakes keeping us literally on the edge of our seats.
The film features a mini version of its own Fantastic 4/Avengers/X-Men called "THE MEGA MINION," who didn't help anyone but simply had fun with their newfound powers. Despicable Me is also known for the songs it adapts to the minion version, and this time it was "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," bringing together all the previous villains for what felt like a reunion of Despicable villains. This time though it was the GRU version.
Even when the film seemed like it was almost over, I remembered the minion left behind in the vending machine. Just when I thought they had forgotten about him, there he was, doing what minions do best—getting into a lockdown, leaving perhaps room for part 5: "Escape of the Minion from Vending Machine."
Thank you to the team for making minions a beloved part of adult life too. Despicable Me 4 is a complete entertainer and a must-watch with kids. You'll be surprised at how loudly you'll laugh. Just go for it!
I personally love to listen to songs that we know which are nothing but gibberish and totally minion version. So, if you are as weird as me then click this playlist to listen to senseless songs that make you happy.
