OMG! It’s another VALENTINE’S DAY and everyone around is going to profess love that they so have daily or hadn’t at all through the year. Dinner-lunch-breakfast dates will happen… Candle light is going to be preferred over well-lit dinner. Neither you nor will your date be able to see what is being served but your eyes will be wide open once you are handed over the bill. Then you will try to figure, whether you should split the bill or is it a sign to split the relationship!
I have never been in favour of having days like this. I think the only day people should celebrate are Birthdays of self and loved one’s and remember death anniversaries to remember the one's who left.
Don’t get me wrong. I am not against Love. I love... love! And I love myself first and then everyone else connected to me. For some reason, 'self-love' is not practised by many hence, the hesitations, the expectations, leading to dissatisfaction and disappointments.
I don’t think loving a person should hold more importance than the love you receive from your parents and children and vice versa. Those are the only love which is unconditional. Rest all are *conditions apply.
Well, during this or any Valentine’s Day to come, when you see everyone wearing red and going out on dates and dinner and you have no one, look at yourself in the mirror and be happy that you have one full year to find someone and for someone to find you. Love will happen. But you need to let it happen not force it!
And if you are feeling bad then tune into this playlist. It only has songs that is ANTI-LOVE 😊
Music is therapy. Believe in it and have fun!
Love thyself before you claim to love someone else. Take care.
